November: Mid Central News from Geraldine

We were joined by Gill Christie and Alison Green who shared with us their skills and tips on all things about quilting. We were treated to a vast array of quilts that they had selected to bring along with a huge range of design and colours. Many of the quilts were mathematical challenges but the patterns created were truly impressive. Quilts really do seem to be a labour of love often telling a story evoking many memories of friends, places lived and visited. Each quilt seemed to be a favourite as they were all too special to single one out. Alison did admit that her home was only just big enough to cater for all her quilts and she has finally made her husband his own special one! Receiving a gift of a quilt is definitely special as there is undoubtedly a bit of love in every stitch.
