Sweet Louise relies on everyday heroes across New Zealand to bring practical and emotional support to people with incurable breast cancer. We don’t receive any government funding, so it’s people like you who make all this possible.
There are so many ways to fundraise – the most important thing is to make sure you have fun doing it. Pick your fundraising idea and get in touch with us at info@sweetlouise.org.nz or call on 0800 793 385 and we’ll email you a fundraising pack full of ideas, advice and online materials. Plus, our dedicated fundraising team will be in touch to support your fundraising effort and help make it a success.
However you fundraise, you'll make a huge difference to the lives of people in your community living with incurable breast cancer, helping them live as well as possible, for as long as possible. Thank you so much for your precious support.
Host a Sweet October get-together
Sweet October is an opportunity to come together with your friends and loved ones and raise vital funds to support Kiwis living with incurable breast cancer.
From a simple coffee or morning tea with friends, to a high tea with pretty cakes - you can host YOUR Sweet October event YOUR way.
Once you've signed up, you’ll receive all the support you need to start planning and fundraising. Plus, raise $50 and receive your *FREE* limited-edition Sweet October tea towel. And there are loads of prizes up for grabs for our top fundraisers, best recipes, and loads more.
Whatever kind of Sweet October get-together you choose to host, the money you raise will provide the practical kindness that Kiwis and their families urgently need. We believe that no one should have to face incurable breast cancer alone. Together, we can be there for every New Zealander facing their toughest moments.

Start your fundraising online
An online fundraising page through Givealittle is really simple and easy to set up. You can personalise your page by adding a photo, your fundraising target and your personal story to tell everyone why you are raising funds for Sweet Louise. Inspire donors by talking about what Sweet Louise does. You can find help with facts and key messages here.
To get started, follow the link below. All you'll just need to do is add your personal details, the name of your challenge, your fundraising target and a photo and you'll be up and running!
