In November 2020, Nelly hosted a high tea in memory of her mum Lois, and to raise funds for Sweet Louise.
Nelly is a member of the hot rod club, Capital Rodders, and says that after attending previous V8 fundraiser event, she felt inspired to do something to raise funds to support women with incurable breast cancer.
Nelly said: “I was inspired me to do a bit more as breast cancer is close to my heart. I thought a high tea is just perfect!”
“Spend the afternoon with family and friends sipping tea and coffee…and of course an excuse to dress up!”
Thank you to Nelly and all those who attended this event! Thanks to you, $2,600 was raised to support New Zealanders with incurable breast cancer.
