Sweet Louise has enjoyed the support of the Hugh Green Foundation for five years now and in 2019, they entered into a new three-year partnership as a cornerstone sponsor of Sweet Louise.
“At the Hugh Green Foundation, we are a big believer in building long-term resilient partnerships with the organisation’s we fund. Rather than supporting many and multiple causes, the approach is about focusing our giving where it matters most to achieve greater results. The Foundation’s values of Compassion, Community, Effectiveness and Teamwork align beautifully with those of Sweet Louise – Compassion, Credibility, Connection and Courage,” says Hugh Green Foundation CEO Adrienne Thurston.
Sweet Louise has entered into a new sponsorship arrangement with Auckland Radiation Oncology (ARO) for two years from 1 July 2019. We are delighted to have the support of ARO, which is a joint venture between Southern Cross Hospitals (who have supported us since 2015) and Mercy Ascot.
Established in 2008, ARO is New Zealand’s first private radiation oncology centre. Based at the Mercy Ascot Epsom campus on Mountain Road Auckland, ARO will be our key “Family Time” sponsor. They also plan to participate in our Sweet October fundraising campaign.
“We are excited to support Sweet Louise. When our patients walk out of ARO following treatment, it is great to know organisations like Sweet Louise are there; who continue to care for patients in ways we cannot,” says Radiation Therapy Services Manager Denise Redwood.

Green Acres & Hire a Hubby are one of our longest-serving service providers and are also incredibly generous supporters of Sweet Louise.
“Our organisation chooses to support Sweet Louise because the relationship is a tangible one. Sure we are pleased to be able to help with some financial support, but really it is the ability of both Hire a hubby and Green Acres to make a real life visible difference to their Members that appeals to us”, says Green Acres & Hire a Hubby CEO Logan Sears.
For more than five years, Agpac have sold pink wrap to farmers around the country. Agpac general manager Chris Dawson says the pink bale initiative was an effort to do something for women in rural communities who are often the unsung heroes behind farming and contracting businesses.
“The pink bales promotion gained a lot of support. Many of those who ordered the pink products have a wife, mother or sister who has had an experience with breast cancer,” says Chris.
